Maine jobs outlook to 2020

The Maine Jobs 2020 report, created by the Maine Department of Labor's Center for Workforce Research and Information, comprises census data, historical trends and local employment data to generate labor market projections for a decade into the future. The report is compiled every two years.

Wages for some jobs with irregular schedules, such as educators and other professional school staff, are listed by average annual salary. The number of total openings includes new jobs as well as job openings from retirement or other reasons.
