On May 14, Westbrook will be celebrating “Kids Day America.”
Sponsored locally by New England Chiropractic, Kids Day America is a national event dedicated to children’s health, safety and environmental awareness.
The event runs from noon to 3 p.m. at New England Chiropractic’s offices at 201 Main St. There will be free balloons, snacks and prize giveaways as well as free scoliosis screenings and spinal exams.
The Westbrook fire and police departments will be on hand to give the kids fire and safety tips as well as providing free fingerprinting to all kids in attendance. In addition, representatives from the Mission Possible Teen Center will be in attendance to spotlight their involvement in community service, mentoring and more.
