Michael Lumm, 33, transient, was arrested Aug. 8 on a charge of theft.

Joshua Toman, 28, of 630 Methodist Road, Westbrook, was arrested Aug. 8 on a charge of theft.

Someone vandalized the apartment building on Dunridge Circle Aug. 8.

A juvenile was summonsed for criminal mischief for hammering on the covered bridge.

Illegal dumping

Someone dumped 20 tires at the Lowe’s construction site on Aug. 9.

Smell the donuts

Someone did donuts on top of where Ledgewood Manor’s septic system is located Aug. 9. The vent pipe was destroyed as well as some of the lawn.

Unsuccessful

A 20-year-old female tried stealing a television and power tools from Wal-Mart but was stopped at the door. She then ran and got into a silver compact car carrying three other females. The car was last seen headed toward Route 35 on the access road.

Lost sheep

A sheep was found on Chute Road Aug. 9.

A bucket-load of fun

Three kids were riding their bikes on Home Depot construction site. When police arrived, the kids were in a front-end-loader’s bucket.

Deranged rearranging

Someone rearranged the letters to spell “Nigger” on a Route 35 readerboard sign on Aug. 10. The owner of the sign had already removed the letters when police notified him of the vandalism.

Super password

A man reported his mother for signing up for cable television using his ID on Aug. 10. The mother is paying the bill but the bill is in his name. He tried to cancel the service but couldn’t since he didn’t have the right password.

First objective?

Someone defecated on a pickup truck parked at the Mount Hunger Shore boat ramp on Aug. 11. A port-a-potty was tipped over as well.

Final objective?

A Mount Hunger Shore Road resident’s boat and travel trailer were damaged Aug. 11.

Debit doubt

A Nash Road resident reported someone stole her debit card information on the Internet.

Stolen car

A 1992 Chevy Monte Carlo stored at Eddie’s Automotive was stolen Aug. 13.

They prefer the ladder

An extension ladder and step-ladder were stolen from a Sandbar Road residence Aug. 13.

Nothing better to do

Three kids were yelling and disturbing shoppers at Wal-Mart on Aug. 13.

Stolen bike

A blue Yamaha Raptor 660 motorbike was stolen from Varney Mill road residence Aug. 14.
