A 16-year-old juvenile of Poland Springs Road, Casco, was arrested for possession of alcohol by consumption Aug. 20.

Patrick Connolly, 36, of 232 Dutton Road, Casco, was arrested Aug. 23 for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration (OAS).

Andrew Menard, 30, of 12 Ashleigh Lane, Standish, was arrested Aug. 23 for OAS.

Anthony Patino, 30, 17 Conesca Road, Raymond, was arrested Aug. 25 for OAS.

Danielle Wright, 21, of 674 River Road, South Windham, was arrested Aug. 26 for improper plates and displaying fictitious sticker.


No A/C

A Leisure Lane, Standish resident reported that someone removed an air conditioner from a window. No entry was gained.

Flipped out

A Boulder Drive, Standish resident reported that someone entered her son’s unlocked vehicle that was parked in the driveway and removed items. A flip phone and 50 compact discs were stolen. The victim believes she may have witnessed the theft but thought it was her son’s friends “messing” with his car. She further stated that in the early morning hours she saw a tall subject with a small flashlight in her driveway. She watched the male enter her son’s vehicle and then walk to a car parked nearby.

Kayaks kifed

A Camp Samoset, Casco employee reported that he suspected an employee of stealing two Heritage kayaks. When questioned by police, the suspect confessed to the theft. The suspect was summonsed but has not returned the kayaks as promised.

Watch your stuff

Someone swimming at Point Sebago Resort in Casco reported that someone stole items while she was swimming. Stolen was an HP digital camera, a wristlet, a cell phone and a gymnastics state jacket.

The lone Ranger

A Sand Road, Naples resident reported that someone took

her Ford Ranger truck from her driveway. After taking the complaint a deputy observed the vehicle traveling on Route 302 in Naples and stopped it. The operator, Chad Leeman, 20, of 61 State Park Road, Casco, was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of property and violation of bail conditions. An investigation revealed that Leeman was also out on bail from Penobscot County for stealing another vehicle.

No show

A River Road, Raymond couple reported that they were contacted by a contractor from Casco, who had done some work for the victims in the past and now wanted to construct a carport for them. The victims agreed and provided him with a $700 deposit. Since that time the work has not been started. The contractor has been cited by the Better Business Bureau for other poor business practices. The contractor was summonsed for the offense and given a criminal trespass notice to not return to the property.

Called out

The owner of Mid Maine Wireless in Raymond reported that a former employee had been taking money from the business. Amount stolen is estimated at $15,000. Investigation is continuing.

Fourth time’s a charm

A Heath Road, Casco resident reported that someone threw a rock and broke the windshield of a vehicle in her driveway. The resident said this is the fourth time in two years that this has happened.


A Songo School Road, Naples woman reported that someone egged her vehicle and tried to pull the right rear window out. A neighbor reported seeing a suspicious vehicle in the area described as only small and blue. The victim believes her ex-boyfriend may be responsible.
