On Dec. 4, police received several reports of stolen Christmas displays from people homes on Holmes Road, Payne Road and Pine Point Road.

In total, the thieves made off with an inflatable Santa Clause and reindeer, Mickey Mouse, Snow Globe, a Santa Clause, and a snowman. In addition, the thieves also stole a wreath from a home.

No arrests were made and the case remains under investigation.

Wife takes children

Police received a report of abducted children from the Downeaster Motel on Dec. 6. Police determined the man’s wife took the children while he was at work and no crime was committed.

On Dec. 7, a Coach Lantern Lane resident reported that someone had scraped an explicative into her car door with a key.

Stolen money

On Dec. 7, police received two reports of thefts from employees at Insight Health Care. The people told police that someone had stolen a total of about $120 in cash from their purses.

Wrong school

A 14-year-old juvenile male was placed under house arrest after he was caught in possession of marijuana at the Middle School on Dec. 9. Police initially made contact with the individual after receiving a report that he was inside the school after it was over. Police then found him in possession of marijuana and contacted his probation officer.

Police responded to a report of reckless driving on Dec. 9 and found a juvenile being pulled up and down Wynmoor Drive by a car. Police notified the driver to stop and issued a warning for driving to endanger.

Dec. 5

Henry P. Brown, 18, of Beechridge Road, Scarborough, was arrested on Holmes Road for operating after suspension.

Dec. 6

Lawrence C. DiPietro, 39, of Marion Street, Portland, was arrested on Enterprise Drive for trafficking schedule “W” drugs and possession of schedule “W” drugs.

Dec. 8

Ralph C. Ferrante, 33, of Albany Street, South Portland, was arrested on Route 1 for operating after suspension.

Carolyn M. Roukey, 37, of Central Street, Westbrook, was arrested at Wal-Mart for theft.

Dec. 5

Peter J. Coyne, 46, of Gable Court, Portland, was summonsed on Payne Road for operating after suspension.

Dec. 6

Lawrence C. DiPietro , 39, of Marion Street, Portland, was summoned on Enterprise Drive for possession of a useable amount of marijuana and sale/use of drug paraphernalia.

Bryan E. Daley, 21, of Paul Avenue, Saco, was summoned on Payne Road for speeding 10 to 14 mph over limit.

Kevin J. Prescott, 39, of 43 Bolton Street, Portland, was summoned on U. S. Route 1 for “Crt Summs” operating after suspension, theft by unauthorized taking and operating with suspended registration.

Dec. 8

Christopher L. Hunt, 24, of Brown Street, Old Orchard Beach, was summonsed on Grand Avenue for failing to display current/valid inspection.
