The Scarborough Rotary Club has finished its annual Christmas tree sale, but the club is still taking orders for fruit.

The money raised will support youth programs and scholarships to Scarborough High School.

“Thanks to Oak Hill Mobil for providing a great selling location to the Scarborough Rotary Club and the many people who purchased Christmas trees from the Rotary Club, Scarborough Rotary Club cleaned up on Christmas tree sales this year,” said Karen Vachon, who does publicity for the Rotary Club.

Cases of oranges, grapefruits, or a combination of the two will be delivered in early February this year. Anyone interested in purchasing fruit should contact Al Cowie at 883-1683 or contact any Rotary Club member. Credit cards are accepted. The order deadline is Jan. 16. Credit cards are welcome, and all orders support local and international goodwill efforts.
