Tufts University senior Caroline Kennedy, a Reserve Officers Training Corps cadet with the Paul Revere Battalion, was named the 2006 George C. Marshall award winner.
The award is presented to the top cadet in each of the nation’s ROTC programs for outstanding achievement in academics, leadership, physical fitness, and extracurricular activities.
In addition to Tufts, the Paul Revere battalion includes students from Harvard University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Salem State College, and Wellesley College.
A 2000 graduate of Scarborough High School, Caroline Kennedy is the daughter of Fred and Anne Kennedy of Scarborough. She will attend a three-day conference on national security issues, held in Lexington, Va., in April.
