Elite All-Stars of Maine cheerleading teams, including the Elite All Starts Top Team with three girls from Scarborough, captured three national titles last month in Orlando, Fla.
On March 25 and 26, six teams from the Elite All-Stars of Maine competed at the U.S. Spirit National Championship at Universal Studio’s Islands of Adventure. Three teams won first in their divisions, including the Elite All Stars Top Team with Scarborough girls Nicole Zambs, Brianna Brown, Olivia Brown, Sam Cofone and Alisha Ramsey.
Four Elite teams will compete in the American Cheer and Dance National Championship at Six Flags in Springfield, Mass., on April 29.
Since 2001, Elite All Stars has become Maine’s biggest All-Star Cheerleading and Dance program. The organization represents Maine at regional and national competitions. The program has more than 170 kids from all over Southern Maine.
