The Westbrook American reported in its issue of Wednesday, April 25, 1956, that Clifford Holden, Dwight Webb and Edna Dickey were the members of the Gorham Teachers Club’s scholarship committee. The club had established a $100 tuition scholarship fund to benefit a high school senior who wanted to become a teacher.
