“Everything…and the Kitchen Sink,” The Tuesday Group Show, will be the featured art exhibit May 2 through May 27 at the Lewis Gallery in the Portland Public Library, 5 Monument Square, Portland.
An artists’ reception will take place Thursday, May 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. All are welcome.
The Tuesday Group consists of 13 local artists. Included are Scarborough residents Chris Beneman and Jean McQuaid and South Portland resident Rebecca Gratwick. This year’s exhibit will feature works based on ordinary objects, such as kitchen and garden tools, cosmetics, toys, tea and coffee apparatus, paper, and even a kitchen sink. Mediums represented will be oil, acrylic, pastel,
watercolor, collage, mixed media and monoprint.
