Scarborough will observe Memorial Day on Monday, May 29 with ceremonies and a parade.

The parade will begin at 10 a.m. at the high school. The parade route will then turn onto Route 114, go up to Route 1 past the town offices, and then ends with a service at the Maine Veterans Home. At 10:15 a.m., marchers will pause at the Legion monument in front of the home for a service.

There will also be a service at 8 a.m. at the Black Point Cemetery, an 8:30 a.m. service at the Dunstan monument, an 8:45 a.m. service at Dunstan Cemetery and a 9 a.m. service at Blue Point Cemetery. At 9:15 a.m., there will be a flag raising ceremony at Memorial Park.
