At Maine Cancer Foundation’s recent Annual Meeting, the following officers were elected for 2005-2006: Meredith Strang Burgess, of Burgess Advertising, president; Doug Carr, of Perkins Thompson Hinckley Keddy, vice-president; Cheryl Greaney, UnumProvident, vice-president, and Roger Poulin, an accountant at Baker Newman Noyes, treasurer.

The following have joined the board for a three-year term: Roger Inhorn, an oncologist at Portland’s Mercy Hospital; Katherine Stoddard Pope, an anesthesiologist with Spectrum Medical Group; Jill Berry Bowen, of Patient Care Services at Mercy Hospital, and Kathy Vandegrift, associate general manager of finance and operations at Jackson Lab Mice and Services in Bar Harbor. In addition, Gene Libby, of Verrill Dana, returned to the board.
