Unwanted call

On Oct. 6, at about 8:45 a.m., an officer met with a Shore Road resident regarding receiving a phone call in violation of a protective order. The report was submitted to the District Attorney’s office for review.

Lifted bicycle

On Oct. 6, at about 3:20 p.m., a resident of the Mountain View Park area, reported the theft of a bicycle. The bike is a red, 10-speed MGX Magna with a reported value of $200.

Stolen change

On Oct. 6, at about 6:55 p.m., a resident of the Oakhurst Road area reported that a motor vehicle was broken into the previous evening. Stolen from the vehicle was $10 to $15 in change.

Purse pirate

On Oct. 6, at about 2:45 p.m., an officer met with a resident of Vermont regarding motor vehicle vandalism that occurred at Two Lights State Park. A window had been smashed out and a brown shoulder bag containing only a set of keys was taken.

Local passes

On Oct. 15, at about 1:42 a.m., an officer was dispatched to a residence in the Scott Dyer Road area for an unattended death. The officer met with a family member, who contacted a family physician and a funeral home.

A 17 year-old male, of Cape Elizabeth, was issued a summons on Route 77 for failing to produce insurance.

Oct. 10

Stephen Haines. 40, of Warren Avenue, Cape Elizabeth, was issued a summons on Sawyer Road for speeding 53 mph in a 30 mph zone.

Oct. 13

Wendy Neal, 47, of Highland Avenue, South Portland, was issued a summons for failing to stop for a stop sign.

A 17-year-old male, of South Portland, was issued a summons on for illegal possession of alcohol.

Melanie McKean, 40, of Cross Hill Road, Cape Elizabeth, was issued a summons on Sawyer Road for speeding 41 mph in a 30 mph zone.

David Creamer, 18, of 10 D St., South Portland, was issued a summons on Sawyer Road for illegal possession of alcohol.

Cape Fire and Rescue

Rescue responded to 12 calls between Oct. 10 and Oct. 16. Nine people were transported to Maine Medical Center, two were transported to Mercy Hospital and one required no transport.

The Cape Fire Department responded to a search and rescue on Kettle Cove Road at 12:15 p.m. on Oct. 10; an activated fire alarm on Pulpit Rock Road at 3:07 p.m. on Oct. 11; a mutual aid call in South Portland at 7:15 p.m. on Oct. 11; wires sparking on Shore Road at 2:42 a.m. on Oct. 12; an activated fire alarm on Scott Dyer Road at 8:54 a.m. on Oct. 13; an activated fire alarm on Pulpit Rock Road at 3:52 a.m. on Oct. 14; a chimney fire in South Portland at 9:14 p.m. on Oct. 16; a traffic control incident on Ocean House Road at 9:14 p.m. on Oct. 16; and an activated alarm on Fowler Road at 11:54 p.m. on Oct. 16.
