Eighth grade trip

The eighth-grade class at Gorham Middle School is planning a three-day trip to the nation’s capital in May and a community drive to raise money is under way.

Organizers hope that all 225 students in the class will be able to go. The cost is $749 per student. Jan Robinson said a fundraising committee would be reaching out to the community for support.

“This three-day trip will be full of educational experiences for each student, opening their eyes and minds to how our country works,” Robinson said.
