The Cape Elizabeth Special Olympic teams had a table at the Pond Cove Craft Fair. Various teachers, school staff and parents donated items to raise money for the team so that members can compete in the Winter Games, being held at Sugarloaf on Jan. 28-30. They also sold raffle tickets that included a Home Depot card valued at $300, and $150 Kohl’s card. Raffle tickets can still be purchased for $1 at the Pond Cove School office.
The team wants to thank Peter and Pam Vose, Tina and Helen Bourdeaux, Debbie Butterworth, Lori and Scott Dorrance, Elaine Freve, Norine and Greg Burns, Betty and Craig Lomma, Eric Johnson, Morrigan Burns and Kristen Cobb for donating items to the craft fair. And a special thanks to the Pond Cove Parents Association for donating a table and supporting the Cape Elizabeth Special Olympic Team.
