Last Thursday, the Gorham boys’ basketball team notched its biggest win of the season thus far, defeating Bonny Eagle, 44-36, at home.

The Scots led 17-16 at the break, but the Rams outscored them 28-19 in the second half to come away with the win.

Andrew Dean scored a game-high 20 points in the winning effort while teammates Mike Foustoukos and Dan Hager scored seven apiece.

Mike Harmon scored 11 in defeat. Anthony Atkins added nine.

Gorham (4-5) fell to undefeated Cheverus, 55-47, Tuesday night in Portland. Dean again led all scorers, this time with 19. Foustoukos had 10.

The Rams opened the season 1-5, but have now won three of their last four. They play at Massabesic Friday.

Bonny Eagle (7-4) defeated Kennebunk 80-61 Tuesday and the Scots will square off against Noble on the road Friday.
