Meeting

The Windham Historical Society will meet 7-9 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26 at the Fellowship Hall, back of the Windham Hill Church. Following a brief business meeting, the program will be “Show and Tell.” Members whose last name begins with M-Z will bring items to “stump” those who attend. Refreshments will be served. The public is welcome, and there is no fee.

Birthday

Jamie Potter celebrated her birthday Feb. 12. She enjoyed dinner with her grandfather, Robert Adams, and her friend, Rick Haley, at Thatcher’s Restaurant.

Meeting

The Lake Region Shriners will meet Feb. 20 at The Landing Restaurant. The social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. Chet Randall, a staff attorney with the Pine Tree Association, will be the guest speaker.

Barns

Barns are becoming extinct so if you have photos of old Windham barns please consider sharing them with the Windham Historical Society. Kay Soldier is preparing an exhibit of photos of Windham barns, many of which have been taken down during the last few decades.

The display will be available at the Historical Society this spring and summer. Information, location and any history would also be appreciated. Meeting

The Windham Wheelers ATV Club will meet Feb. 20 at the East Windham Fire Barn at 7 p.m. For more information about the club, contact Kevin Bailey at 892-0664 or Chris Charbonneau at 893-8246.

Stan Sampson’s birthday was Feb. 15. His wife, Jane Sampson’s birthday is Feb. 20. There are several family members with February birthdays also. Their daughter, who lives in Westbrook, held a family party Feb. 11.

Meeting

The Rebekah Lodge No. 71 will meet Feb. 21 at 7:30 p.m. in the Odd Fellows Hall. It will be Roll Call and Charter member night, which was postponed from earlier. The program will be a “Brown Bag” exchange. Larry Wallace, Jerry Hansen and Wes Mason are in charge of the refreshments.
