Local scrapbooker Tracy Jamison will hold an event to benefit the Pallotta family of Scarborough. A former firefighter and paramedic, Stephen Pallotta has contracted a progressive and debilitating illness. He and his wife Diane have two children who attend Scarborough schools.

The event will be held Saturday, May 12, from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish Hall, Black Point Road, Scarborough. Crafters – scrapbookers, knitters, painters, card makers – are invited to spend the day working on projects while supporting this family. Breakfast items, coffee, lunch and afternoon snack will be included. Raffle items will also be available.

The registration fee is $40 and raffle proceeds will help offset costs related to Pallotta’s illness.

Donations of refreshments for the day are welcome, as are raffle items.

Jamison will take pre-orders for scrapbook supplies until April 20; scrapbook supplies will be available for purchase on the day of the event. Seating is limited. To register or for more information, call 885-5019 or e-mail cmtrajamison@yahoo.com.
