Fire and Rescue

Between March 20 and March 26, the Cape Elizabeth Rescue squad transported three patients to Maine Medical Center and three to Mercy Hospital.

On March 24, at around 9:45 a.m., the fire department responded to an activated fire alarm on Maiden Cove Lane.

On March 25, at around 2:40 a.m., the fire department responded to an activated alarm on Scott Dyer Road.

On March 26, at around 7:45 a.m., the fire department responded to an activated smoke detector on Maiden Cove Lane.

Hoodlums

On March 21, a resident of the Mitchell Road area reported criminal mischief to a motor vehicle. A large chunk of dirty ice and snow had been placed on the hood of the car, causing scratches. There are no suspects.

Found items

On March 18, an abandoned blue Schwinn Mesa mountain bike was found by a resident of the Broad Cove area, and on March 21, a Citizen watch was found at the middle school.
