Three structures built by Patco Construction of Sanford, have been honored by VP Buildings, one of the nation’s largest manufacturers of metal buildings.

Patco has been named to VP Buildings’ 2007 Hall of Fame for Arundel Machine Tool in Arundel, Classic Flooring in Scarborough and Allegiance Financial Group in South Portland.

The National Hall of Fame Awards are presented each year to authorized VP Builders for outstanding integration of building systems, products and design. Patco Construction has won over 30 of these awards.

The 2007 Hall of Fame Awards included hundreds of winning entries in several categories, including agriculture, auto dealership, churches, government buildings, aviation buildings, manufacturing facilities, offices, recreational facilities and retail buildings.

Over 1,000 authorized builders from across the globe are eligible to enter multiple categories in the Hall of Fame competition. This year, 125 projects were selected to receive Hall of Fame status.

Greg Patterson, president of Patco commented, “Our partnership with VP allows us to offer the highest quality, most efficient commercial and industrial buildings available in the marketplace today. We feel honored to have been named to the Hall of Fame for three projects this year.”

The majority of PATCO buildings are designed by in-house staff in conjunction with the appropriate drafting, architecture or engineering professionals. Patterson approaches every project as a team, promoting a dynamic and innovative environment. The focus is on the client. “Our client is our reputation. And our reputation is our future,” said Patterson. “We are building our business one satisfied client at a time.”
