Cape Elizabeth High School senior Katherine Yosua was honored as Cape Elizabeth High School’s recipient of the Maine Principals’ Association Principal’s Award for academic excellence and school citizenship.

Yosua, along with award-winning seniors from high schools across the state, attended the annual MPA Honors Luncheon, along with their school principals, at the Bangor Civic Center on April 3. At the luncheon, winners received a plaque in honor of their accomplishments and a chance at a $1,000 scholarship.

Yosua, the daughter of Dianne and Fred Yosua of Cape Elizabeth, is the class valedictorian. She is active in the school’s music program and numerous activities outside of school, and has been honored as a member of the All-State Orchestra. Yosua will be attending Williams College in Williamstown, Mass.
