(South Portland, ME) Prime Mercedes of Scarborough helped organize a golf

tournament at Sable Oaks Golf Course in South Portland yesterday that raised

almost $60,000 for Sweetser, a mental health organization that helps

families throughout Maine.

Ira Rosenberg, owner of the Prime automobile dealerships, was the major

sponsor of the tournament.

“This organization does fabulous work,” Rosenberg said, “and now they need

our help more than ever. I am pleased that the tournament was so

successful.”

The Sweetser/Prime Motor Group Golf Classic has become one of the most

highly visible charity golf tournaments in the state. This year the

tournament sold out every last sponsorship opportunity, and actually had to

participate.
