The following cases were handled recently in District Court in Portland:

June 13

William D. Gilbertson, 56, of South Burlington, Vt., was found guilty on a charge of operating motor vehicle under the influence in Scarborough on Dec. 23, 1987, and was fined $350 and had license suspended for 90 days.

William A. Lowell, 46, of Cape Elizabeth requested a jury trial on a charge of operating under the influence in South Portland on April 11, 2007.

Jeffrey D. Nobert, 39, of Old Orchard Beach requested a jury trial on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked Scarborough on March 26, 2007.

Ian E. Robertson, 71, of South Portland requested a jury trial on a charge of operating under the influence in South Portland on May 1, 2007.

June 14

Nathan Geiger, 21, of Brewer requested a jury trial on charges of furnishing liquor to a minor, allowing a minor to possess or consume liquor and assault in South Portland on March 2, 2007.

Christopher J. Ronco, 38, of Portland had a charge of possession of marijuana in South Portland on Jan. 5, 2007, dismissed.

Philip F. Thomas, 24, of Scarborough had a charge of operating after registration was suspended in Westbrook on April 24, 2007, dismissed

June 15

Hamza Awil, 19, of Roxbury, Mass., was found guilty on a charge of operating a vehicle without a license in Scarborough on March 2, 2006, and was fined $200. He was found guilty on a charge of failing to give correct name, address or date of birth and was fined $200.

Vernon Dianglo Brown Sr., 42, of Mardela Springs, Md., was found guilty on a charge of Rule Violation, duty status not current in Scarborough on Nov. 9, 2006, and was fined $250.

Seth Dube, 28, of South Portland was found guilty on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in Gray on March 24, 2007, and was fined $250.

Benjamin H. Fabish, 19, of Cape Elizabeth requested a jury trial on a charge of failure to register vehicle in Cape Elizabeth on May 3, 2007.

Jamie Latham, 20, of South Portland was found guilty on a charge of a minor possessing liquor in Gorham on April 17, 2007, and was fined $200.

Jennifer Macisso, 22, of South Portland was found guilty on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in Scarborough on April 18, 2007, and was fined $250.

Ana A. Matiyabo, 19, of Portland was found guilty on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in Scarborough on May 11, 2007, and was fined $250.

Sean A. Norton, 20, of Portland was found guilty on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in Scarborough on April 17, 2007, and was fined $250.

Tonya Quatrano, 36, of Scarborough had a filing with conditions on a charge of assault in Portland on May 20, 2007.

Olivia B. Shaw, 22, of Portland was found guilty on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in Scarborough on April 12, 2007 and was fined $250.

Jonathan Smith, 25, of Limington was found guilty on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked, prior in Scarborough on May 3, 2007, and was fined $750.

June 18

Ahmed M. Abdi, 26, of Columbus, Ohio, paid by waiver a fine of $150 for operating a vehicle without a license in Scarborough on March 16, 2004.

Ronson O’Shea Barnwell, 36, of Altavista, Va., paid by waiver a fine of $250 for Rule Violation, duty status not current in Scarborough on March 27, 2007.

Sharon Burgess, 47, of South Portland requested a jury trial on a charge of operating under the influence in Windham on April 6, 2007.

Virgil H. Buzzell, 52, of South Portland requested a jury trial on a charge of terrorizing in Portland on May 22, 2007. He also requested a jury trial on charges of violating protective order and violating protective order and violating condition of release in Portland on May 24, 2007. He requested a jury trial on charges of violating protective order and violating condition of release in Portland on May 25, 2007.

Diane L. Christiana, 41, of Gorham paid by waiver a fine of $150 for operating a vehicle without a license in South Portland on April 3, 2006.

Irene E. Davis, 49, of Saco was found guilty on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked, prior in Scarborough on March 21, 2007, and was fined $250.

Gabrielle G. Gorham, 39, of Scarborough was found guilty on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in South Portland on March 24, 2007, and was fined $250.

Farrah A. Iiman, 18, of Portland was found guilty on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in South Portland on Jan. 10, 2007, and was fined $250.

Abdolhamid Karimian, 18, of South Portland paid by waiver a fine of $60 for operating a vehicle without a license in South Portland on March 29, 2007.

Zachery Oliver, 29, of Old Orchard Beach was found guilty on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked, prior in Scarborough on March 14, 2007, and was fined $750.

Paul D. Smith, 29, of Buxton was found guilty on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in Scarborough on March 13, 2007, and was fined $250.

June 19

Sara Damon, 18, of Bath was found guilty on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in South Portland on May 5, 2007, and was fined $250.

Lisa M. Davis, 37, of South Portland was found guilty on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in Scarborough on March 8, 2007, and was fined $250.

Mark Pottle, 38, of South Portland was found guilty on a charge of altering vehicle after inspection in Portland on May 3, 2007, and was fined $150.

Shawn M. Ruarke, 22, of Cape Elizabeth was found guilty on a charge of skateboarding on public way in South Portland on May 3, 2007, and was fined $25.

Richard Sawyer, 23, of Portland was found guilty on a charge of assault in South Portland on March 18, 2007, and was fined $300 and sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 45 days. He was also found guilty on charges of refusing to submit to arrest or detention, obstructing government administration and escape and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 45 days on each charge.

June 20

Katrina Anderson, 22, of Portland was found guilty on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in Scarborough on Jan. 5, 2007, and was fined $500.

Paul Farrell, 42, of South Portland requested a jury trial on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in Portland on April 28, 2007.

Magot A. Garnick, 22, of South Portland requested a jury trial on a charge of failing to give motor vehicle accident information in South Portland on March 6, 2007.

Steven A. Gonzalez, 42, of Biddeford requested a jury trial on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked – OUI in Scarborough on April 26, 2007.

Industrial Concrete Services Inc. of Portland paid by waiver a fine of $100 for Rule violation, missing or broken brake components in Scarborough on May 15, 2007.

Durgin J. McKusick, 19, of Cape Elizabeth was found guilty on a charge of possession of marijuana in Gorham on Feb. 2, 2007, and was fined $350.

Patricia Mead, 23, of South Portland paid by waiver a fine of $250 for operating while license was suspended or revoked in South Portland on May 28, 2006.
