The following cases were heard in District Court in Portland:

Oct. 11

Shane Clarke, 19, of South Portland was found guilty on a charge of assault in South Portland on June 3 and was fined $300 and sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 60 days.

Christopher Michael Miller, 19, of South Portland was found guilty on a charge of assault in Portland on June 3 and was fined $300 and sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 60 days.

Robert Rawding, 39, of Scarborough had a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in Scarborough on Aug. 12 dismissed.

Oct. 12

Joel D. Beauchamp, 32, of Portland was found guilty on a charge of operating a vehicle without a license in Scarborough on Sept. 1 and was fined $150.

John Burke Jr., 37, of Westbrook had a filing with conditions on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in Scarborough on Sept. 1.

Christopher J. Chapman, 23, of Westbrook was found guilty on a charge of surfing during prohibited hours in Scarborough on Aug. 26 and was fined $25.

David Cookson, 21, of Biddeford was found guilty on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in Scarborough on Aug. 27 and was fined $500.

Sarah Coyne, 19, of Scarborough was found guilty on a charge of sale and use of drug paraphernalia in Cape Elizabeth on July 30 and was fined $300.

Matheau R. Downs, 24, of South Portland was found guilty on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in Scarborough on Sept. 2 and was fined $250.

Alan K. Jones, 22, of Portland was found guilty on a charge of operating under the influence in Scarborough on Sept. 2 and was fined $750, sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 72 hours and had license suspended for 90 days.

Justen W. Peters, 26, of Georgetown was found guilty on a charge of surfing during prohibited hours in Scarborough on Aug. 26 and was fined $25.

Portland Airport Limousine Company of Scarborough paid by waiver a fine of $100 for rule violation – defective steer control component – in Portland on Sept. 20. The company also paid by waiver a fine of $100 for rule violation – inadequate parking brake.

Robert J. Ricker, 20, of Scarborough was found guilty on a charge of operating under the influence in Scarborough on Aug. 31 and was fined $500 and had license suspended for 90 days. A charge of operating a vehicle without a license was dismissed.

Jonathan Rogers, 22, of Raymond was found guilty on a charge of operating under the influence in Scarborough on Aug. 28 and was fined $700 and had license suspended for 90 days.

David J. Russell, 43, of Carver, Mass., was found guilty by default on a charge of possession of marijuana in Scarborough on Aug. 31 and was fined $550.

Phillip A. Saraceno Jr., 45, of Scarborough had a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in Scarborough on Aug. 18 dismissed.

Cruz Eric Torrez, 25, of South Portland was found guilty on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Portland on Sept. 7 and was fined $250.

Matthew S. Tricomi, 23, of Westbrook was found guilty on a charge of surfing during prohibited hours in Scarborough on Aug. 26 and was fined $250.

Joell Tucker, 23, of Portland was found guilty on a charge of failure to register a vehicle in Scarborough on May 19 and was fined $100.

Paul Wiggin, 23, of Old Orchard Beach was found guilty on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in Scarborough on Sept. 6 and was fined $250.

Chris N. Yardley, 49, of Farmington was found guilty on a charge of violation of Higgins Beach surfing ordinance in Scarborough on Aug. 22 and was fined $25.

Oct. 15

Alan McGahey, 23, of Saco was found guilty on charges of carrying a concealed weapon and violating condition of release in South Portland on Oct. 12 and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 48 hours in each charge.

Brad McKnight, 51, of South Portland was found guilty on a charge of drinking in public in Portland on Oct. 13 and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 24 hours.

Derek Thompson, 26, of Windham was found guilty on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked, prior in South Portland on Feb. 1 and was fined $500.

Oct. 16

Michael Emmert, 28, of Auburn paid by waiver a fine of $250 for operating while license was suspended or revoked in Scarborough on Aug. 23 and was fined $250.

Aaron Feiner, 47, of Scarborough requested a jury trial on a charge of assault in Scarborough on Aug. 22.

Barbara Kriger, 74, of South Portland requested a jury trial on a charge of failing to stop, provide information in South Portland on Aug. 20.

David J. Russell, 43, of Carver, Mass., requested a jury trial on charges of assault, unlawful furnishing scheduled drug and unlawful possession of scheduled drug in Scarborough on Sept. 3, 2004.

Maria Sherwood, 60, of Falmouth requested a jury trial on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in South Portland on July 31.

Oct. 17

Allyn Trucking Inc. of Lomira, Wis., paid by waiver a fine of $100 for rule violation – defective coupling device – in Scarborough on April 14.

John E. Burke, 53, of Portland requested a jury trial on a charge of operating under the influence in South Portland on July 10.

Edward Drasby, 56, of Scarborough requested a jury trial on charges of assault and obstructing the report of crime in Scarborough on Sept. 11.

Steadman Kerr, 49, of South Portland requested a jury trial on a charge of operating under the influence in Gorham on Aug. 3.

Rajavardhan Madhavapeddi, 34, of Scarborough requested a jury trial on a charge of failing to stop for an officer in Portland on Sept. 10.

Christopher Powers, 23, of South Portland requested a jury trial on charges of operating under the influence and failing to give motor vehicle accident information in Scarborough on Aug. 31.

Guadalupe Torres, 34, of Racine, Wis., paid by waiver a fine of $250 for rule violation – duty status not current – in Scarborough on Aug. 14.

Oct. 18

Noel Ray Carpenter, 37, of Bayoula-Batre, Ala., requested a jury trial on charges of rule violations – duty status not current and operating after disqualified – in South Portland on Sept. 12.

John A. Nappi, 57, of South Portland requested a jury trial on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in Portland on Aug. 30. He also requested a jury trial on charges of operating while license was suspended or revoked, failing to give correct name, address or date of birth and violating condition of release in Windham on Sept. 20.

William E. Roman, 52, of Wellesley, Mass., requested a jury trial on a charge of operating under the influence in Scarborough on Aug. 31.

Gail Rowe, 57, of Cape Elizabeth requested a jury trial on a charge of operating under the influence in Cumberland on Aug. 22.

Oct. 19

Reece Champlin, 23, of Saco requested a jury trial on charges of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and violating condition of release in Scarborough on Oct. 5.

William Conley, 47, of South Portland requested a jury trial on charges of terrorizing and criminal trespassing in Cape Elizabeth on Aug. 20. He requested a jury trial on a charge of violating condition of release in Cape Elizabeth on Aug. 21. He requested a jury trial on each of two charges of violating a protective order and violating a condition of release on Sept. 24 and Sept. 29.

Burton Haskell, 50, of Gorham requested a jury trial on a charge of fugitive from justice in Scarborough on Sept. 26.

Lorraine Lamont, 43, of South Portland requested a jury trial on charges of unlawful possession of scheduled drug and operating under the influence in Cape Elizabeth on Aug. 25.

Vicki Lauzier, 48, of Scarborough requested a jury trial on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in Scarborough on Oct. 7.

David Reid, 53, of Cape Elizabeth requested a jury trial on a charge of engaging a prostitute in Portland on Aug. 30.

Oct. 22

James Matthew Callahan, 26, of Honolulu, Hawaii, was found guilty on a charge of operating under the influence in South Portland on Aug. 18 and was fined $500.

Tommy G. Copp, 47, of Millerton, Pa., paid by waiver a fine of $750 for rule violation – operation with false duty – in Scarborough on Aug. 21.

Ryan Gallagher, 24, of South Portland was found guilty on a charge of operating under the influence in South Portland on July 24 and was fined $700, sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 48 hours and had license suspended for 90 days. He was also found guilty on a charge of possession of marijuana and was fined $350.

Kelly A. Gibson, 21, of Portland was found guilty on a charge of driving to endanger in South Portland on Oct. 11, 2006, and was fined $575 and had license suspended for 30 days.

Patricia Hager, 21, of South Paris had a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in South Portland on Oct. 13, 2006, dismissed.

Sue E. Maheu, 55, of South Portland had a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in South Portland on May 7 dismissed.

Jeffrey Swoboda, 19, of South Portland was found guilty on a charge of operating under the influence in Portland on Aug. 8 and was fined $850 and had license suspended for 90 days.

Oct. 23

Kenneth Bell, 31, of Portland was found guilty on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in South Portland on Aug. 31 and was fined $250.

Scott M. Billings, 26, of Biddeford was found guilty on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in Scarborough on July 7, 2006, and was fined $500. A charge of operating after registration was suspended was dismissed.

Scott P. Bissonnette, 43, of Cape Elizabeth was found guilty by default on a charge of possession of marijuana in South Portland on Aug. 24 and was fined $350.

Jessica L. Boothby, 28, of Westbrook was found guilty on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in South Portland on Aug. 31 and was fined $750. A charge of operating after registration was suspended was dismissed.

Russell Clapp, 46, of Pittsfield was found guilty on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in South Portland on Sept. 5 and was fined $250, with restitution of $25.

Andrew R. Clunis, 23, of South Portland was found guilty by default on a charge of sale and use of drug paraphernalia in South Portland on Sept. 1 and was fined $300.

Brynne Curran, 21, of Cape Elizabeth requested a jury trial on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in Cape Elizabeth on Aug. 7.

Lisa M. Glover, 36, of Cape Elizabeth had a filing with conditions on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in South Portland on July 10.

Gary L. Hobbs, 59, of Auburn requested a jury trial on a charge of operating after registration was suspended in Scarborough on Aug. 4.

Bubpeter Nguany, 20, of Portland requested a jury trial on charges of operating after habitual offender revocation, failing to notify of motor vehicle accident, theft by unauthorized use of property and failing to make oral or written accident report in Cape Elizabeth on Aug. 2.

Tara M. Raymond, 27, of Winthrop requested a jury trial on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in Scarborough on July 12.
