Daniel Mailman, 36, Sawyer Road, on Route 77 for speeding 44 mph in a 35 mph zone.

Dec. 15

Samuel Kaplan, 19, Winding Way, on Bowery Beach Road, for speeding 58 mph in a 45 mph zone and possession of marijuana

Fire and Rescue

Between Dec. 11 and Dec. 16, the Cape Elizabeth Rescue squad transported three patients to Maine Medical Center.

On Dec. 11, at around 3:50 p.m. and again at around 4:10 p.m., the fire department responded to an alarm on Bowery Beach Road.

On Dec. 14, at around 3:30 p.m., the fire department responded to an alarm on Reef Road.

On Dec. 16, at around 11:15 p.m., the fire department responded to arching wires on Susan Road.

Charging across the country

On Dec. 10, a resident of the Scott Dyer Road area reported unauthorized purchases on a debit card. Both purchases were made at the same store in California. The resident has filed a report with the bank. The Case remains active.
