Westbrook police, in cooperation with St. Joseph’s College in Standish, is seeking citizen input on police performance and crime issues in Westbrook.

A community policing survey will let residents provide input on a variety of subjects relating to police performance and perceptions citizens have concerning crime in their community.

Student interns Brian Olsen and Brad Campbell are leading this effort in cooperation with Westbrook Police Chief Bill Baker.

The survey is being distributed in city neighborhoods, and will also be available at City Hall, the public safety building and the public library. The police also expect to send surveys home to parents of school-age children in cooperation with the schools, and to make an interactive version of the survey available on the city’s Web site.

Those with questions can contact the student interns coordinating this project at bcampbell@sjcme.edu or brolson@sjcme.edu.
