Putting:
The object of putting is simple: Roll the golf ball into the cup. But with inconsistent technique and worries of missing, putting can become frustrating and difficult. Keep it simple, says Scott Mayer, the teaching pro at Nonesuch River Golf Club in Scarborough. “I putt best when I putt with disregard for the hole. I pick the line that the ball needs to be rolled on, and I roll it the distance of the hole.”
