The Sabbathday Lake Association will host the second summer meeting from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16, at the Sabbathday Lake Grange Hall on Sabbathday Lake Road.

The meeting will feature speakers Roberta Scruggs, Forest Bell and Heather True.

Bell will discuss the results of this summer’s water testing program. Scruggs, who has worked with the Bridgton nonprofit Lakes Environmental Association since 2004, handles membership, community relations, and now works on the association’s milfoil program.

True is a project manager for Cumberland County Soil and Water Conservation District. For more than six years she has worked on watershed protection programs. True has been an AmeriCorps watershed educator and a stewardship associate at the Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve and has been project manager at the Cumberland County Soil and Water Conservation District for two years.

Refreshments will be served.
