Scarborough resident Walter B.J. Schuyler III received his medical degree from the University of Vermont School of Medicine during the May 18 commencement ceremony.
Last month he started a four-year residency in anesthesiology at Maine Medical Center.
Schuyler is a 1998 graduate of Cheverus High School and received his undergraduate degree from Furman University in 2002. He is the son of Dr. Walter Schuyler and Kathleen Schuyler of Indian Rock Road, Scarborough.
