Allison Steele of Saco has been named assistant manager of the new Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution Westbrook branch, scheduled to open in January.
Most recently the assistant manager of the Saco branch of the Savings Bank of Maine, formerly Rivergreen Bank, Steele began her financial services career as credit manager for Wells Fargo Financial in Mechanicsburg, Pa.
A native of Alfred and a graduate of Massabesic High School, Steele earned a degree in international business at Elmira College in Elmira, N.Y.
The opening of its Westbrook branch brings to six the number of locations of Saco & Biddeford Savings. They include Saco, Biddeford, Old Orchard Beach, Scarborough and South Portland.
