Two local men recently completed basic training in the U.S. military.
Army National Guard Pvt. Robert E. Davis graduated from basic combat training at Fort Sill in Lawton, Okla. Davis, a 2008 graduate of Windham High School, is the son of John Becker of Westbrook and nephew of Kelly Bushey of Windham.
Army Reserve Pfc. Matthew P. Bell has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning in Columbus, Ga. Bell graduated in 2001 from Windham High School.
