The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is looking for leads to track down a man who robbed a Naples convenience store Sunday.

A man entered the Big Apple Convenience Store at 239 Roosevelt Trail in Naples at around 6:20 p.m. on Jan. 18 and demanded money from the clerk, according to Chief Deputy Kevin Joyce. Though he didn’t show the clerk a weapon, he implied that he had one. After the robber got money from the cashier, he fled the store.

The suspect is described as 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 140-150 pounds and having a dark complexion. He was wearing a green jacket with a hood, white scarf and blue jeans. An image of the man was captured by the store’s security camera.

A police dog was used to track the suspect, and authorities think he left in a vehicle that was parked behind Dodge Oil Co. at the intersection of Route 11 and Route 302.

The sheriff’s office is looking for leads. Anyone who recognizes the man in the photo or saw a vehicle parked behind Dodge Oil Company Sunday afternoon can contact Detective Dan Down at 774-1444 (extension 2124).
