A Scarborough man has been hired by ecomaine as the new director of finance and administration.
Eric Doane had formerly been regional controller for FairPoint Communications. He is a certified public accountant with 25 years of business experience.
Doane will be filling the position left vacant when Rocco Mazilli Jr. retired.
With an annual budget of $27 million, ecomaine is a nonprofit recycling and waste corporation. It serves 34 communities in southern Maine.
