Four Scarborough High School athletes qualified and participated in the Nike Indoor Nationals held last weekend at Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center in Boston. Pictured, from left, are: Nate Hathaway, who ran in the 1-mile event, finishing in 25th place with a time of 4:27.36; Whitney Chamberlain, who ran in the 800 meters, finishing 26th overall in 2:20.28; Jenny Snyder, who participated in two events, the 60 meter hurdles (52nd place in 9.82 seconds) and the 60 meter dash (63d place in 8.31 seconds) and Catie Funk, who represented Scarborough in the shot put, finishing 21st overall with a top throw of 37-2.25.
