A number of wrestlers from Bonny Eagle and Westbrook were recently recognized as SMAA all-conference performers.
For the Bonny Eagle Scots, Dalton Groeger was named to the first team at 130 pounds and Stephen Martin was a first-team selection at 171. Named to the second team were Ryan Cook (119), and Tyler Meikle (285). Receiving honorable mention were Dale Cabral (103), Patrick Gallant (125), Kevin Kinahan (140), Troy Severance (145) and Max Alfiero (160). Dan Wiley was named to the all-academic team.
The Westbrook Blue Blazes had Andrew Drouin named to the first team at 215. Harrison Strondak was a second-team selection at 152. Steven Sawyer (171) and Glenn Emery (112) received honorable mention.
