FREEPORT — The Maine Clammer’s Association will hold a family clean water supper promoting coastal heritage and clean coastlines.
The benefit dinner will take place at the Freeport public safety building on Main Street from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, March 28. There will be live music, prizes, giveaways,and t-shirts available. There will also be alternatives for diners who do not enjoy shellfish.
The cost will be $12 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under; children under 5 are freee.
More than 50 percent of the profit will be deposited into the Freeport special studies account, dedicated to water testing, pollution identification and remediation.
