Machine move in 3.16.09 034.JPGHarbor Technologies in Brunswick is the proud owner of a new pultrusion machine. The 40-foot machine, which arrived by truck Monday afternoon, pulls pieces of fiberglass fabric through a bath of resin and pushes them out through a precision-made steel die, “sort of like a big Play-Dough factory,” engineer Erik Grimnes said. Martin Grimnes, the company’s president and founder, said the machine (the only one of its kind in the Northeast) will allow the composites company to compete with China. (Roger S. Duncan photo)
