2/14 at 2:19 a.m. Sean Lupsewicz, 20, of North Yarmouth, was arrested by Officer Brian McCarthy on Maine Mall Road on charges of criminal mischief and allowing a minor to possess or consume alcohol. 

3/14 at 5:26 a.m. Brendan Olsen, 24, of Canton, Mass., was arrested by Officer Thomas Simonds on Broadway on charges of possession of marijuana and operating under the influence. 

3/14 at 3:58 p.m. Frederick Spohrer, 22, was arrested by Officer Frank Clark on Gorham Road on a charge of operating after suspension. 

3/15 at 2:13 a.m. Joseph Van Valen, 20, was arrested by Officer Brian McCarthy on Running Hill Road on charges of operating under the influence, operating after suspension, leaving the scene of an accident and possession of a suspended license. 

3/15 at 3:13 p.m. Linzi Crooks, 19, of Portland, was arrested by Officer Rocco Navarro on Philbrook Avenue on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking.

3/20 at 11:48 p.m. Abram Snow, 18, of Portland, was summonsed by Officer Brian McCarthy on Main Street on charges of possession of marijuana and sale and use of drug paraphernalia. 

No window for escape

3/14 at 2:19 p.m. Police responded to a Maine Mall Road hotel for a reported disturbance. When the officers knocked on the door, they reportedly heard the sound of someone exiting through a window. Officer McCarthy found and detained a male, later identified as 20-year-old Sean Lupsewicz of North Yarmouth, while the other officers determined there were three 17-year-old girls inside the room allegedly consuming alcohol. Lupsewicz was charged with criminal mischief and furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol. The girls were not charged. 

A sign to stop

3/15 at 2:13 a.m. Police were called to Running Hill Road for a report of a man walking away from an accident, where officers determined the car had collided with a sign. The driver, 20-year-old Joseph VanValen, was located nearby and charged with operating under the influence, operating after suspension, leaving the scene of an accident and possession of a suspended license.
