CAPE ELIZABETH — The Cape Elizabeth Land Trust will host an Earth Day celebration April 22 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Festivities will take place at the CELT office at 330 Ocean House Road.

The first annual Earth Day celebration is dedicated to providing the families of Cape Elizabeth with fun activities that promote a healthy and sustainable earth. There will be educational environmental videos streaming throughout the day and special locally made door prizes given away.

Hands on activities will including making birdfeeders out of recycled materials, a rock and mineral collection, and a planting station.

There will be an scavenger hunt throughout the day and three guided walks at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
