Cumberland speedskaters Peter Stauber (first photo) and Griffin Ashey, both 14 and members of the Great Atlantic Speedskating Club, took part at the U.S. National Speedskating championships in Midland, Mich., last month. Ashey took silver and gold medals in his divisions based on time. Stauber achieved a personal best in all four his races.
