SCARBOROUGH —The Payne Road Study Committee will hold its next meeting at 7:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 6 at Town Hall.

Its first meeting, held April 8, went well, councilor and committee Chairman Ron Ahlquist said, with lots of good ideas from those who attended. The group is committed to “bringing Payne Road back to the residential road it used to be,” Ahlquist said.

The committee is made up of nine members representing a cross-section of Scarborough. Anyone from the public is welcome to attend.
