BATH — Mary E. Libby, 97, died May 25 at Hill House.
In 1930, she graduated from Boothbay Harbor High School and later from the University of Maine, Orono in 1963.
For 25 years, she taught in Boothbay and Brunswick area schools.
She was a member of Berean Baptist Church, the local Retired Teachers’ Association, and the Brunswick Golf Club.
She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond B. Libby, in October, 1976.
She is survived by two daughters, Sarah Jenson and her husband Tom of Damariscotta, Jane Littlefield and her husband Bill of Topsham; six grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
At her request, a service will be held at 11 a.m., June 13, at the Berean Baptist Church, 15 Cumberland St., Brunswick.
Memorial donations can be made to the Salvation Army of Bath, 25 Congress Ave., Bath, ME 04530 or to the Berean Baptist Church, 15 Cumberland St., Brunswick, ME 04011.
Arrangements are by Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal St., Brunswick.
