South Portland finished the regular season 13-3 to earn the No. 3 seed entering the Class A West tournament, which got underway this week. Today (June 11), the Red Riots are scheduled to host a quarterfinal contest against the winner of Tuesday’s prelim matchup between No. 6 Gorham and No. 11 Deering (played after this edition’s deadline).
