BATH — Uncontested incumbents were re-elected Tuesday to the City Council and Regional School Unit 1 board.
Councilor Sean Paulhus received 394 votes in Ward 2 seat, while Councilor Kyle Rogers received 365 votes in Ward 3 and Councilor Bernard Wyman had 391 votes in Ward 4. There was one write-in vote in Ward 3.
Chester Garrison of West Bath received 281 votes in Bath and 695 votes in West Bath for re-election to the RSU 1 board in District 4. Julie Rice of Bath received 687 votes in Bath and 364 votes in Phippsburg for her District 5 seat. Bath numbers were preliminary as of Wednesday morning.
Voter turnout in Bath was nearly 63 percent, with 4,746 out the city’s 7,552 registered voters casting ballots.
