SOUTH PORTLAND — The annual tree lighting at Mill Creek Park will take place on Friday, Dec. 4, from 4:30-7 p.m.
There will be horse-drawn carriage rides throughout the evening in addition to hot dogs, popcorn, hot chocolate and hot cider. Santa Claus will be at City Hall, 25 Cottage Road, for pictures.
The tree lighting will be at 6 p.m. Students from high school and middle school choruses will sing Christmas carols from 5:45-6:15 p.m.
