11/28 at 5:55 a.m. Jeffrey Barnes, 44, was arrested on a warrant on Broadway by Officer Kevin Sager and on a charge of operating after suspension. 

11/28 at 11:25 p.m.  Michael Platts, 18, was arrested on Market Street by Officer Brian McCarthy on a charge of obstructing government administration.

11/28 at 11:25 p.m. Alexander Gibson, 18, was arrested on a warrant on Market Street by Officer Erin Curry.

11/29 at 1:05 p.m. Zachary Deprez, 24, was arrested on Westbrook Street by Officer Scott Corbett on a charge of operating after suspension.

11/29 at 9:03 p.m. Dean Goodwin, 30, was arrested on Hill Street by Officer Richard Mearn on a charge of domestic violence assault.

12/3 at 3:49 p.m. A 17-year-old, of Portland, was summonsed on Philbrook Avenue by Officer Christopher Todd on charges of theft by unauthorized taking, possession of marijuana, possession of alcohol by a minor and failure to give correct name or date of birth.

12/4 at 8 p.m. A 14-year-old was summonsed on Cottage Road by Officer Jeffrey Pooler on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking.

Stopped cruiser rear-ended

11/30 at 9 a.m. A police officer investigating a traffic accident on Broadway became a victim of a hit and run. Officer John Bostwick was gathering accident information when his marked cruiser was reportedly struck from behind, causing minor damage. The suspect reportedly didn’t stop, but was located later by other officers. Sheila Usinger, 76, was summonsed for leaving the scene of an accident.

Swap shop

12/1 at 3:30 p.m. Police were called to a Maine Mall business for a reported theft where a woman, who had been observed stealing items, got into a vehicle and left before she could be apprehended. Two hours later, police were called to the same store, where employees said a woman, who was believed to be involved in the earlier incident, had returned and was trying to exchange items, allegedly taken from another store, for cash. Carolyn Deberry, 30, of Lewiston, was summonsed on a charge of receiving stolen property and Deena Powers, 38, of Lewiston, was arrested on charges of theft and violating conditions of release.
