Rabbi Moshe Wilansky lights the first lanterns on the grand menorah in front of Portland City Hall on Saturday night, Dec. 12, the second night of Hanukkah, the Jewish Festival of Lights. A party with latkes (traditional potato pancakes), balloons, music and dancing followed in the Maine Room of City Hall.
