AUGUSTA — Energy officials say the average heating oil price in Maine remains unchanged from a week ago at $2.66 a gallon.
The survey released today by the Governor’s Office of Energy Independence and Security indicated prices ranged from a high of $2.85 in eastern Maine to a low of $2.34 in southern and southwestern regions.
Overall, prices have been relatively steady this winter. The latest survey indicates the price of No. 2 heating oil is roughly 10 cents higher than it was in November.
