FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Morris Almond finished with 31 points and Darnell Lazare added 20 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Maine Red Claws to a 124-108 victory over the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in an NBA Development League game on Tuesday night.

The game featured 17 lead changes and was tied after three quarters before Maine pulled away by outscoring Fort Wayne 42-26 in the final period.

Almond finished 8 for 11 from the field, including 5 of 6 from 3-point range, and was 10 of 12 from the free-throw line.

Maurice Ager added 20 points for the Red Claws (23-14), and Russell Robinson and Trey Gilder each added 18 points.

Sean Sonderleiter led the Mad Ants (13-22) with 25 points and 10 rebounds. Ron Howard chipped in with 22 points and eight rebounds.

Maine outrebounded Fort Wayne, 49-37. The Red Claws shot 51.9 percent (41 of 79) from the field.
