Portland’s Ava Gaudet placed first in the floor and beam, was second in vault and bars and finished all-around in Level 4 in the recent Let’s Make a Deal meet in Sterling, Mass. Sophia Ham, also in Level 4, placed fifth all-around after finishing fourth in beam and floor and fifth in vault and bars. Libby Sevigny placed second in floor in Level 5. Gaudet also competed in the Excalibur Cup in Virginia Beach, VA. She fwon the vault, was fifth in beam and fourh all-around. The girls are gymnasts with the American Flyers Gymnastics team and train at the Maine Academy of Gymnastics in Westbrook.
